This is what I’ve been trying to tell people for years. Just be cringe. Anyone who cares about what you like is a stupid child.
When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty, I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.
An Ontario small business owner now cannot operate her business any longer or pay her rent or bills–because she donated–get this!!– $250 to the convoy fundraiser. For $250, her life and livelihood are now ruined thanks to Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland.
But here little old me thought a liberal government that campaigned on growing the middle class would champion people like this small business owner. Not if you have the wrong political leanings or do not believe in the “right” ideologies.
